A Hot Chocolate Stand, but make it FABULOUS! That’s what I set out to do when my daughter simply asked if we could have some hot chocolate. Over the top? Maybe, but we both had so much fun making and playing with it!
This hot cocoa stand was the perfect way to switch up Abby’s scrap wood play stand for the winter months.
Here are some of the details:
The fabric I used to sew the canopy is Waverly. I used my Cricut to cut some plain black HTV to make the “Cocoa & Chanel” logo. The gold framed sign is from Dollar Tree. I hot glued some ribbon to the back to allow it to hang and created the quote picture inside. The cups are simply styrofoam with designer logos hot glued on. The fuzzy chair we’ve had for years!
The little black bag is what actually gets played with when we’re not taking pictures and can be found here. Abby’s oh-so-chic beret and tweed sweater are STEALS and good quality for the price. Her fabulous sparkly shoes are by Mini Melissa. A few sizes can be found here. The rest of the accessories are from Hobby Lobby’s 90% holiday clearance and cost maybe $6 total. (Yes just $6! It’s one sale that’s not to be missed!)
Where’s the hot cocoa? Don’t worry, we definitely had our share! With marshmallows and whipped cream, just like the menu board reads. Now with this new fancy hot cocoa stand I’m sure there will be lots more to come!
