It’s easy to get caught up in the decorations, the music, the time of year and wind up spending a lot more than you ever intended to during the holidays. When it comes to gifts, I find that the best gifts aren’t the ones that necessarily cost the most but are the ones that are the most thoughtful.
This year, in an effort to actually stay on budget, I did some holiday shopping research. Using Pintrest I created virtual lists (called boards) of thoughtful gifts for everyone on my list that deliver a big bang for a little buck. I created two boards: Holiday Gifts $15 and Under and Holiday Gifts $30 and Under.
So before you go wandering aimlessly around a bustling mall, check out my ideas and then make your own holiday shopping boards! Don’t let Mariah Carey’s “All I want for Christmas Is You” and sales people wearing Santa hats convince you to frivolously buy. Planning is key to staying on a budget during the holidays!
