Bright Alternative.

I’ve been a big fan of brightly colored bottoms since the trend came around. From the windows of Rag & Bone to J Brand, they are everywhere. Only problem was that I couldn’t find a pair in my Practically Spoiled price range. I’ve been stalking Old Navy and OldNavy.com for their Rockstar Jeggings in red or blue, only to be disappointed when they don’t have my size time and time again (I still love you Old Navy, I’ll see you again soon. *wink*). But a random trip to Marshalls last weekend made my denim dreams come true when I found both red and blue denim, in my size, for the incredible price of $19.99 each. SOLD!

So today I rocked my bright blue denim for the first time. I paired them with a “dusty chartreuse” sweater (I have not a clue what color to call this sweater, see below) for some colorblocking action. Also during my Marshalls trip, I picked up these black leather booties that you’ll have to pry off my feet come spring. A black cardigan toned down the bright on bright and my quilted baby (my bag) added an unexpected touch of sophistication. Finally, I layered on the bracelets because I just can’t leave home without an arm party.
